Reviewing Case Evidence
Clients can upload various types of evidence to support their defense. Here's how to access and review it.
Evidence Types
Clients may upload:
- Ticket/Citation - The original traffic ticket
- Location Photos - Images of the intersection or road
- Dashcam Footage - Screenshots or still images
- Google Street View - Screenshots showing the location
- Other Documents - Maintenance records, calibration certificates, etc.
Accessing Evidence
- Open the case from your Cases list
- Scroll to the Evidence section
- Click on any item to view it full-size
- Use the download button to save files locally
Witness Statements
If the client added witnesses, you'll see:
- Witness name and relationship to the client
- Written statement from the witness
- Uploaded signed declaration (if provided)
Evidence in Generated Documents
When you approve a case, relevant evidence is automatically:
- Referenced in the defense statement
- Formatted as attachments to the MC-031
- Included in the final PDF package
Requesting Additional Evidence
If you need more evidence from the client, use the "Request More Info" feature to ask them to upload specific items.
