Understanding Case Statuses

Case Status Guide

Cases move through several statuses as they progress from intake to completion.

Status Flow

  1. In Progress - Client is completing intake
  2. Pending Review - Submitted by client, awaiting your review
  3. More Info Requested - You've asked the client for additional information
  4. Approved - You've approved, documents are being generated
  5. Completed - Documents ready for client download

Status Details

In Progress

The client is working through the intake wizard. You can see which step they're on. No action needed from you until they submit.

Pending Review

The client has completed intake and the AI has generated a draft statement. This is where you review, edit if needed, and approve.

More Info Requested

You've sent a question back to the client. The case will return to "Pending Review" when they respond.

Approved

You've approved the statement. The system is generating the complete TR-205 document package.

Completed

Documents are ready. The client can download their defense package from their portal. They'll receive instructions on how to mail the documents to court.

Filtering by Status

On the Cases page, use the status filter to quickly find:

  • Cases needing your attention (Pending Review)
  • Cases waiting on clients (More Info Requested)
  • Recently completed cases
