Downloading Case Archives

Case Archives

Before cases are automatically deleted, you can download complete archives for your records.

When to Download Archives

You'll receive email notifications:

• 7 days before scheduled deletion
• With a link to download the case archive

Downloading an Archive

1. Go to the case detail page (from the email link or Cases list)
2. Click Download Archive
3. Save the ZIP file to your computer or firm's document management system

Archive Contents

The archive includes:

• All generated PDF documents
• Client intake responses (as a text file)
• Uploaded evidence files
• AI-generated statements
• Case metadata (dates, status changes, etc.)

Archive Format

Archives are provided as ZIP files containing:

• case-summary.txt - Overview of the case
• documents/ - Generated PDFs
• evidence/ - Uploaded files
• intake-responses.txt - Client's answers

Bulk Downloads

If you have multiple cases approaching deletion, you can download archives individually or contact support for a bulk export.

After Deletion

Once a case is purged, the data cannot be recovered from DriversConfidence. Make sure to download any archives you need before the deletion date.
